From one of the closest and most exciting finishes in recent event history, Normandy duo Guillaume Pirouelle and Cedric Château (Seafrigo-Sogestran) have won Class 40 on THE TRANSAT CAFÉ L’OR Le Havre Normandie, the biennial double-handed race from Le Havre to Fort De France, Martinique.

Corentin Douguet and Axel Tréhin, SNSM Faites un don ! crossed the line at 16:26:42 local time (21:26:42 in Paris).

The duo Guillaume Pirouelle and Cédric Chateau, on the Class40 Seafrigo-Sogestran, won the second leg from La Coruña to Martinique. We will have to wait 21 minutes and 38 seconds to find out if they will win the TRANSAT CAFÉ L’OR.
