A commitment to sustainable, responsible coffee

L'OR shares concrete commitments to better respect for people and the planet: 

  • Responsibility. As part of the JDE Peet's Common Grounds approach and its responsible sourcing program, L'OR offers coffee from responsible sources, respecting the environmental, social and economic principles defined by the Global Coffee Platform as part of its sustainable code of conduct. 
  • Highlighting the diversity of nature. Through its partnership with the World Coffee Research association, L'OR supports research designed to help as many people as possible discover the different varieties of coffee that exist in the world, and thus promote a more diverse coffee landscape.
  • Reducing our environmental footprint. By actively contributing to the development of the collection and recycling of small aluminum capsules, L'OR now enables 70% of the French population to recycle their capsules by disposing of them in bulk directly into the yellow bin. The brand also offers dedicated collection points for aluminum capsules, so that everyone has a recycling solution close to home.
