At 00:25 UTC (2:25 a.m. local time), the race direction of the TRANSAT CAFÉ L’OR was informed of the capsize of the Ocean Fifty Koesio just north of Guernsey.

At the time Koesio was in 8th position and sailing in a 25-knot northerly wind with 2.5-meter waves.

Erwan Leroux and Audrey Ogereau are safe and in good health.

The two skippers were airlifted and taken to CROSS Jobourg (Cotentin Point), where their families will join them.

The MRCC, the race management, and the Koesio technical team are monitoring the drift of the boat and the possibilities of towing.

Further information will be available later.
